US Central Command announced a fresh wave of attacks, while the IRGC claims heavy damage to the US Fifth Fleet HQ in Bahrain.

Here are the key updates of the day:

  • US Central Command announced a new wave of attacks on Iran. "The strikes are designed to further degrade military capabilities Iranian forces have used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz," CENTCOM added.
     
  • US President Donald Trump warned earlier that strikes “will continue until I say enough”, with threats to bomb Iranian power plants and bridges—a war crime. 
     
  • For its part, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it attacked US military assets in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan overnight, claiming heavy damage to US Fifth Fleet HQ in Bahrain.
     
  • Israeli attacks continue on Gaza and southern Lebanon, with casualties reported.
