Suadad al-Salhy

Suadad al-Salhy, a freelance journalist covering Iraqi politics and security, with over two decades of experience. She worked as a correspondent for Reuters, New York Times, Al-Jazeera-English, Newsweek, Arab News and Middle East Eye. In 2022, al-Salhy was named Journalist of the Year at the Drum Online Media Awards for her reporting for Middle East Eye. Al-Salhy is also a member of the Marie Colvin Journalists' Network.
