Mohammad Alhamawi is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies (CHS) in Doha, Qatar. He is interested in conflict, identity, and regional studies. He holds an MSc in Development Administration and Planning from University College London (UCL).

 

Taj Hussain is a Research Assistant at the Centre for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies. He began his career in the field of asylum and immigration law in the United Kingdom, where he worked as a legal assistant in appeals against British government decisions. He holds an LLM in International Law from Queen Mary, University of London and an LLB from the University of Leeds. His research interests include customary law, international humanitarian law, the law of war, genocide, and post-colonial understandings of international law and humanitarian action.

Let’s be clear, Israel isn’t a rogue state. It’s simply part of a system where Western powers enjoy total impunity, write Mohammad Alhamawi and Taj Hussain.
