Fayha' Shalash is a journalist from Ramallah in the West Bank. She completed her undergraduate studies from Birzeit University in 2008, with a major in radio and television. 

While illegal Israeli settlements have air defence systems and shelters, Palestinian areas in the occupied West Bank lack any protection.
